学习与工作经历

19821月本科毕业于山西大学生物系;198412月硕士毕业于中科院上海植物生理研究所;198412月起在原北京农业大学生物学院工作。199111月博士毕业于美国新泽西州立大学(Rutgers University)。19949月起在中国农业大学生物学院从事科研教学工作至今。1995年获国家杰出青年科学基金;1999年被聘为教育部首批“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授;2007年增选为中国科学院院士。20082016年兼任国家自然科学基金委生命科学部主任。其他学术任职有:中国植物学会理事长、中国环境科学学会副理事长、国务院学位委员会生物学科评议组召集人、教育部科技委副主任等。社会兼职有:曾任第十届全国政协委员,第十一届、十二届全国政协常务委员;现任第十三届全国人大常委会副委员长,九三学社中央主席,中国农业大学学术委员会主任

 

研究方向

主要从事植物抗逆和钾、磷高效等重要性状的基因克隆和功能分析,植物响应干旱、高盐、磷钾营养亏缺的信号转导和基因表达调控网络机制等方面研究工作。
