CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

His research has a strong focus on the influence of genetic and environmental factors on chronic diseases, with the main focus on cancer incidence and mortality. He has used data from nationwide registers and national and regional surveys to shed new light on potential genetic and environmental factors associated with the development of various types of cancer. Results from his research studies can be found in highly ranked journals, such as The Lancet Oncology, J National Cancer Inst, Gastroenterology, and Circulation, et al.
